AB Major  variant  and  most  common  type  of  cutaneous  mastocytosis.  Typically  presents  in  childhood  as  discreet  hyperpigmented  cutaneous  macules  that  flare  and  wheal  on  superficial  stimulation  (Darier  sign).  Degranulation  must  be  avoided  during  all  anesthetic  procedures  (physiological  and  psychological  stress,  drugs).
