AB A  type  of  ectodermal  dysplasia  characterized  by  craniofacial  anomalies  (absent  eyelids,  nose  and  ear  anomalies,  macrostomia),  other  ectodermal  anomalies  (skin  and  hair),  and  variable  anomalies  of  the  nipples,  genitalia,  and  hands.  This  syndrome  has  poor  growth.  Mildly  delayed  language  and  gross  motor  skills  are  possible,  but  most  patients  are  mentally  normal.
