AB Controlled  or  deliberate  hypotension  is  practitioner-initiated  reduction  of  an  anesthetized  patient’s  blood  pressure  (BP)  to  achieve  a  specific  therapeutic  purpose.  The  hypotensive  state  under  hypotensive  anesthetic  sustains  tissue  perfusion  with  adequate  blood  flow.
