Presents with progressive dementia, spasticity, cortical blindness, deafness, hemiplegia, quadriplegia, ataxia, pyramidal signs, retrobulbar neuritis, and pseudobulbar palsy. Seizures. Onset in late childhood. Most patients die within few months after onset.
