He has a high BMI (35 kg·m–2) and a complex cardiac history. He presented to the Emergency Department a week earlier and began a course of prednisone 30 mg for airway swelling. His vital signs are temperature 37°C, heart rate 100 beats per minute, respiratory rate 22 breaths per minute, blood pressure 165/90 mmHg, and oxygen saturation (SpO2) 95% on room air.
