AB Cardiac  complications  occurring  in  the  postanesthetic  care  unit  (PACU)  are  typically  due  to  hypotension,  hypertension,  and  dysrhythmias.  Patients  with  known  coronary  artery  disease  or  congestive  heart  failure  are  more  prone  to  these  complications  after  surgical  procedure.
