AB A  rare  congenital  defect  characterized  by  pancreatic  insufficiency  with  neutropenia  (60%  of  cases)  and  growth  retardation.  Other  features  may  include  recurrent  and  fatal  infections,  aplastic  anemia,  leukemia,  skeletal  abnormalities  (metaphyseal  dysostosis,  thoracic  dystrophy),  hepatic  failure,  and  ichthyotic  skin  changes.
